The red church in my suburb

14th September 2014

In my suburb live 23 000 people and most of them are Roman Catholic but it doesn't mean all of them go to the church. In my place less and less people are going to the church. It is not popular activity on Sunday. In the past it was different but now Poland is an independent, western country so the customs are different. There is a wide of choice you can do on Sunday.

In my suburb there are two Roman Catholic churches. The first which is very old. It was built in 1905 and the second one built in 1980.
The old church is very impressive and big one. The church is located next to busy road.

As you can see below in the photos.

The old postcard from my suburb. And the church as it looked in the early 20th century.

The Church was renovated in 2005.

Tesco supermarket is located next to the Church.

Autumn decoration in front of local shop.
Have a nice week
