We are ready for Christmas

20th November 2014

Lifestyle has changed at my place because when I was a child we decorated Christmas tree on 24th December. Now since 2nd November every shopping mall is decorated and ready for Christmas.  A lot of people start doing Christmas shopping and decorate their Christmas trees in the beginning of December. I can say we feel Christmas in the air but is a long time 5 weeks ahead..

Shopping mall is ready for Christmas customers
This year we have decided to decorate two Christmas trees - the first one at home ( our summer house where we usually spend Christmas) and the second one outside our house. We  planted a spruce  in 2007 when we have bought a house. There is a spruce in front of the house next to fence. So we believe it will look fantastic for Christmas.

Our Christmas tree which we are going to decorate 20th December
So we have already bought Christmas decorations and lights. It will be colourful Christmas tree but mostly red and silver..

  4. Stores and malls here are decorated for Christmas, too. I have a real tree, so I don't decorate it until about two weeks before. Earlier than that, the needles would have all fallen off by Christmas!

  7. Your Christmas tree looks good out in the front yard.
Also here Christmas decorations have begun to show in the shops. I guess it's nicer to have them for longer than just a few days.

  8. It's crazy how early Christmas now starts in the retail world! I love having a Christmas tree and decorating for Christmas. We had three small trees in Sevilla. Then we got our two cats. We haven't put up a tree since! The little devils.

  9. We used live trees for Christmas and then planted in the yard several different times. Cool to watch them grow.
