Fingers crossed
mine this morning is having no "stubborn" fits.
Today here is our National Day - Australia Day.
One person is named "Australian of the Year" and the choice
from about 8 incredible candidates who were nominated - all worthy recipients of the award - I certainly approve of the final selection. He will for his 12 months term, do all facets of Australia proud. Having meet the General, I can assure you he is a "no nonsense" person and Australian to the soles of his boots!
His acceptance speech would have had one section of the Australian community which still lives in the age of the "British Empire or Raj" choking on their cucumber sandwiches which I would have loved to have seen - ha ha.
I hope that your much looking forward to London, the weather is favourable.
The only thing I enjoyed during my constant rain visit to London were the excellent theatres where you could see the "creme de la creme" of the acting fraternity perform.
I only wish that the Berlin Wall etc had been knocked down
and that would have meant I could have seen Berlin, Warsaw etc. but no way was I going to take the chance of travelling in that zone at that time!
Cheers
ColinHuggybearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17517411617275367396noreply@blogger.com
