In my place running water is really expensive especially if you live in a big conurbation. But I can admit that running water in the countryside is not cheap, too.
Walking in the countrysiude I have noticed some people have decided to build a well. I totally understan them.
It was the wise decision to build the well and save a lot of money..
First spring flowers.
As you can see in the photos above most owners install metal fences here which are more popular then wooden ones.
Yesterday it was the last walk before we left South East of Poland. The nature is amazing there. I was walking between the fields 10 km.. about 3 hours..I love walking..
In my place we are waiting for a hot, nice weather but in the Sicily (Italy) the weather is fantastic. Sicily is a place where my friend Concetta lives. She lives in a small town Racalmuto.
This summer I am visiting her and I am very happy. I love sunny places and exploring different cultures. Racalmuto is about 3000 km from my place. I am flying from Cracow to Catania It takes me about 2,5 hours.
The photos show traditional Easter cakes which are very popular there. My friend baked them before Easter.
Today is Easter Sunday so we have experienced Daylight Savings Time. We had to get up earlier to prepare Easter breakfast - the most important meal of the day. Finally the weather is fantastic sunny and hotter than yesterday.
The heart of the small town. 8.a.m.
View from my kitchen window. I can enjoy the beautiful spring day..
So all products products are prepared for celebrating Easter. Today the weather is cloudy but tomorrow we are expecting sunny Easter.
Easter Saturday in Poland is a busy day. Every Polish family visits a church with a basket full of food products (a piece of bread, salt, sausage, egg - usually painted etc). Especially children love it! The baskets are then blessed by a father.
My dog is loooking fot a delicious treat..
My Easter basket which includes eggs, some bread, an orange, salt and other goodies.
Today is Good Friday in the Roman Catholic Church. A lot of people go to the church.
In my country Good Friday is not a public holiday but some businesses finish work earlier.
The weather was perfect for walking and relaxing. A lot of people did shopping so the shops were very crowded.
While we were driving a car we have noticed an amazing house in the tree. It was located in the private property so I think father has made it for their children.
Willow trees in the residential area look charming.
24th March 2016
In the morning we left Upper Silesia for 5 days because we are going to spend Easter in the countryside. During walking dog I have taken some photos.
Hens and rooster - wow just I am in the small town.. I always have a dream to have chickens one day... I know it is stupid idea but I would like to have fresh eggs..
The first buds..
Local post office . In front of it is a nice willow..
Tomorrow it is a high time to prepare something for EASTER.
Last weekend I took part in a funeral service. The service took place in a modern church. The church is very young because it was built 20 years ago. Building churches now is not very common here because less and less people go to church. Of course it is typical for modern European society.
The architecture of the church is completely different from churches which were built at the beginning of the 20th century.
In my opinion this church looks charming and white churches are not typical here,.
Today was a gloomy day in Upper Silesia but nice. But the most terrible news has arrived from Brussels. The terrorist attack in Belgium. It means we are not safe in Europe any more. Which country will be the next Poland, Germany, Italy who knows?
The photo of the church in Gdansk.
We must live normally to work, to travel in bussiness or in private matters. Or simply fly for holidays...
The Roman Catholic Church in Gdansk
Maybe we should pray for peace...
What is the best solution.?. Which way is the best? How to live in our Europe.
Today is the first day of spring. The day is not too hot but sunny. Today I uploaded photos which were taken in London on 28th March 2012. Spring is my favourite season of the year but As I am an allergic person so difficult to survive.

Personally I don't do a palm but I admire how skilfull are some people.
The traditional contest for tallest Easter palm attracted thousands of local residents
and tourists to Lipnica Murowana on Palm Sunday.
The small village in southern Poland is well known for its tradition dating back to 1958.
Residents of Lipnica and surrounding villages gather there every year to present hand-made palms made of willow and bedecked with flowers and ribbons, symbolising the sacrifice of Christ as well as the rebirth of life. According to the rules of the competition the palms cannot have any metal parts.
The highest palms presented in this year's contest reached almost 30 metres, with the winner made by Zbigniew Urbanski coming in at 29.4 metres.
Smaller palms were made by children and a local kindergarten presented their own, made with the help of teachers.
Palm-making has is strongly embedded in Poland's Easter traditions. The most common palms are made of dried grasses and evergreens such as wild bilberry sprigs, boxwood and catkins, as well as flowers made of paper tissue.
Today was a perfect sunny day but very cold. In the morning I decided to make myself an Easter decorations. Every year I decorate the small branches with green buds and colourful plastic eggs . In my opinion it looks nice.
At Easter I am expecting green leaves... It would great view.
