These photos I took last June in Germany and England . The lavender fields i Germany looked fantastic. .

    Thanks for letting viewers know that that field was a lavender
    field - I looked and gulped - shock / horror. I thought
    it was "Paterson's Curse".

    Not a favourite with the rural community here, I can assure you.
    You certainly as Andrew has mentioned were blessed with wonderful weather on this trip to the UK. You obviously were a "good girl" and the Gods were highly pleased - ha ha.
    My one and only trip to London was rain, heavier rain and torrential rain - I was NOT AMUSED!

  4. Looks like a gorgeous time of year to travel! I love the scent of lavender; it is so soothing and relaxing. Beautiful to see a field of it!
