Upper Silesia is varied and there are a lot of houses which dated back from the end of 19 Th century or the beginning of the 20th century. Luckily some houses are renovated and well maintained and people live there.
Housing estate from 19th century - in the past miners lived there.
It is good that the buildings are maintained and used as accommodation.

I appreciate these older buildings very much...and if they are maintained well they are far superior to some of the building built today.

DeleteThese brick buildings could easily be imagined in neighborhoods in Brooklyn where my brother lives.
