Gdansk a city at the Baltic Sea

4th August 2015

At 11 a.m we were in Gdansk. The weather is sunny and so hot. After unpacking at the hotel we decided to go the city centre. The city is very crowded and busy. Now in the summer a lot of tourists from around the world is here. It is typical melting pot. The most spoken language is German. Why? The answer is easy - Gdansk ( Danzig in German) for centuries belonged to Germany.Since 1945 it  returned to Poland. So They want to come back to homeland of their parents and ancestors..Walking in the sun is lovely.. So I invite you for the first pictorial in Gdansk..

What is the history attached to that pirate ship???
Of course we with some knowledge of historical events, unlike others,
who live in a cocoon, know the importance of this city for nautical significance.
Be it for naval importance and/or trade - be it once called Danzig and now back to
    Polish Gdansk.
As you are a lecturer at high schools and university, you may enlighten your
    readers.
    Cheers
