Streets of London

11th June 2014

Architecture in London is different from my place but so rich and interesting. Every street is different. I can say every suburb here is different.

Terraced houses are very popular here

View from my bedroom. Those house were built in  1930.
Regent Street
The house where I lived with my daughter and her friend

Honestly London streets are very crowded because it's a peak of season. It's definitely a multicultural city where everybody can spend a great time but unfortunately there is a lot of litter in the streets in the evenings.

  1. It looks like you saw many different London neighborhoods.
I notice the litter, too. In the US we have public trash cans everywhere for people to out their trash in but it is hard to find one in London when you need one. Maybe that is why the streets get so messy.

    1. Cynthia you are right. There is shortage of bins but as I know there aren't so many because they afraid of terrorist attacks ( somebody can put a bomb into the bin especially in the crowded places. That's why there is shortage of trash.

  2. Interesting. We found London very clean after being in Amsterdam and Brussels and there was no shortage of rubbish bins in the areas we visited.

    1. In areas where we were living there weren't any bins. The same in the city. About 7 p.m. every day there are a lot of plastic bags in the streets which contain litter shopkeepers collect litter in the street.

Pity about the rubbish, but I suppose there is only a few bins.
