Krosno - the Royal Free City of Krosno is a small town in Subcarpathian Region. Krosno a medieval fortified town. Krosno is on the river Wisloka. It is located 40 km from Slovakia and 85 km from Ukraine.
The first mention about the town appeared in 1282. However, the oldest traces of settlement came back to 10 th century.
