Crooked house in Sopot Poland

9th August 2016

One of the attractions in Sopot is crooked house locatead at the main street.

Szotynscy Zaleski designed Crooked house in  Sopocie on Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street. It was based on work by children’s book illustrator Jan Marcin Szancer and Swedish painter Per Dahlberg.Green shades cover sheet metal on the curved roof. The Surrealist three-story building assumes the scale of surrounding restaurants, shops, and houses at the Rezydent shopping center,

and then warps at the central lobby entrance.

Thanks for visiting. Hugs from sunny Poland.
