I came across this small chapel on the road while cycling. This is a chapel which dates back from 1895 includes the statue of Saint Florian.
Saint Florian (Latin: Florianus; died c. 304 AD) was a Christian holy man, and the patron saint of Linz, Austria; chimney sweeps; soapmakers, and firefighters. His feast day is May 4. St. Florian is also the patron of Upper Austria, jointly with Saint Leopold.. This part of Poland for many years belonged to Austria so it was a patron of firefighters, too.
Local residents take care of it.
Its a cute chapel with peaceful surrounding. Have a lovely day!

Hello!:) You are right about the temperature in the Algarve. It was too hot, we had siestas every afternoon in the great heat of the day. Your chapel find is lovely, it's so small that it almost looks more like a monument rather than a chapel. It looks in pristine condition, considering it's age, and the local people have done an excellent job in caring for this historical chapel.
