Farewell 2016

31 st December 2016

So today the last day of the year. Personally  it was  a good year for me but I have had much more problems with my allergy. It is very difficult season for me since October to April - it is a real nightmare - I must take a lot of pills every day but it does not work. It is impossible to avoid cold or flu which last a few weeks. House dust mites is my main problem. Dust is everywhere living in a big city is not definitely for me but living in the countryside is not solution too. I am too young I must work here it is much easier to find job than in the outback. But never mind there are a lot of incurable illnesses. 

We celebrate New Year Eve at home because I have a lot

of paperwork for my school and we must stay with our dog which is scared of fireworks.

The end of the year

30th December 2016 

 So tomorrow is the last day of the year 2016. We came back home yesterday and I am much more satisfied with the weather here because we do not have any snow.

In the evening I was in the city centre and it looked lovely and so festive.

We got fresh snow last night and landscape looks beautifully. But I don't like white winters luckily we are leaving tomorrow to our permanent place of living where there is no snow.

Sicily it is located 2500 km about 2 and half hours by plane.


 
It is winter in Sicily too but it looks completely different from Poland.

Winter in Upper Silesia where I permanently live.

Winter in my temporary place of living -today. What is interesting it is only 256 km from my permanent place but we have a white winter. In Silesia there is no snow - it is typically autumn.
