St. john's hut in ( hermitage) Dukla

18th August 2016

Hermitage of St. John's in Dukla is very popular with tourists especially in spring and summer when a lot of people visit it. It ids located in the middle of wood. It is a small hut where John lived in the 16th century of course it was rebuild. But what is important it was rebuilt on the same place as in John's time
It is hard to believe how his lifestyle looked like in the past. No electricity,no central heating but it had fresh air unpoilt nature, a lot of herbs and God in the heaven.

He led simple life but happy one.

Inside the hut. It was a simple bed and a table...

In the background Cergowa Mount.

Mt. Cergowa (716 m.) Beskid Niski from the area of Krosno/South Poland. Abundance of hills, forests, meadows..and freedom.

The oak which commemorates John Paul II who was here...
