Museum of Folk Architecture

I visited this museum with my Italian friend last week. In my opinion it is an amazing place to visit. More photos tomorrow.

The Rural Architecture Museum of Sanok (PolishMuzeum Budownictwa Ludowego w Sanoku) is one of the biggest open-air museums in Poland. It was established in 1958 by Aleksander Rybicki and contains 200 buildings which have been relocated from different areas of Sanok Land. The Sanok museum shows 19th and early 20th century life in this area of Poland.

Playing on the line

The Guitarist Leszek Winder wanted to commemorate the Silesian bluesmen by a sculpture in public space. The Institution of Culture Katowice – The City of Garden commissioned Jerzy Kędziora to make an artwork. The sculptor is well known for his intrigued balancing sculptures. The Bluesman hung 5 meter over the Mariacka Street. The unveiling of sculpture took place 5thSeptember 2013.
