Winter break
14 Th January 2017
It was very busy last week because it was the end of term in my school ( parents' meetings and teachers' meetings). On Monday we are starting two weeks winter break and we are going to the mountains for one week. We are going to ski. I hope it will be a good time and I am going to walk with my dog for long distances , As I know it is a severe snowy winter there.

Warm yourself and be healthy

Situation in my place is very serious :
firstly we have experienced frosty weather - 21 degrees today so it is very cold
secondly we have had poisonous smog in our metropolis so school in some cities are closed. Doctors advise children and seniors stay at home. We are waiting for windy weather which help to fight with smog..
We didn't experience such cold and frosty winter since 2015...

European winter can be fantastic..

Wow winter is almost everywhere in Europe even in much hotter countries than mine. My friend from Sicily has just sent me photo from and they have had snow for three days which is very unusual for them because they rarely have some snow.
This photo is really amazing - hot Sicily covered with snow.

Snowy winter in Sicily

As you know I have the best friend in Sicily/ Italy who I visited last summer.Two days ago she sent me photos from her town and it was a big surprise to me because they had some snow. Snow in Sicily is not very common but as I now from TV most of European countries have experienced severe winter.
