Last Sunday I visited our Silesian zoo. It was a sunny day. I took my daughter, too. Enjoy the photos.
Silesian Zoological Garden It was founded in 1954 and is situated in the Katowice and Chorzów districts of Silesia. It covers over 47.6 ha within the Silesian Central Park.
The Silesian zoo is a home for about 2,500 animals of 300 species. It is visited by over 390,000 people annually.
A mini-zoo is the collection of gentler animals which are (directly) accessible to children.
The dinosaur valley contains full-scale reconstruction of 16 large dinosaurs, the remains of which were found by a Polish expedition to the Gobi desert.
More photos tomorrow.
How i miss going to the zoo with my children when they were younger! Maybe i just need to go anyway.
ReplyDeleteNice looking set of animals there. Are those mongoose?
ReplyDeleteI love the bear photos, and the meerkats are cute.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the tiger was feeling sociable on Sunday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos on the animals from zoo... I think the mongoose should be really fun to check. Your daughter is very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a nice day out with the animals and your beautiful daughter.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for sharing your photographs here, lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you, I enjoyed all these photos from the zoo. It is always lovely to see the animals and I would be very interested in the dinosaur area too. A fun time to share this experience with your daughter.
