Canary Wharf in London

10th June 2015

We visited this amazing point of London strictly connected with bussiness.
Canary Wharf is a major business district located in Tower Hamlets, London. It is one of the UK's two main financial centres – along with the traditional City of London – and contains many of Europe's tallest buildings, including the second-tallest in Great Britain, One Canada Square.

Canada Square is a skyscraper in Canary Wharf, London. It was the tallest building in the United Kingdom from 1990 to 2010, standing at 770 feet (235 m) above ground level[16] and containing 50 storeys. In late 2010, it was surpassed by The Shard(completed in July 2012) which stands at 309.6 metres (1,016 ft).

It is really impressive building. In this building works 10000 people. I think I wouldn't like to work here.

Canary Wharf is a fantastic modern place but so crowded at lunch break and rush hour..

Cutty Sark - an amazing ship in London

9th June 2015

In London I saw an impressive ship from 19th century. At that time it was the fastest ship in the world. It took him 3 months to reach Australia from England.

Name:Cutty Sark (1869–1895)
Namesake:Cutty-sark
Owner:John "Jock" Willis (1869-1895)
Ordered:1 February 1869
Builder:Scott & Linton
Cost:£16,150[1](p196)
Laid down:1869
Launched:22 November 1869
Sponsored by:Mrs. George Moodie
In service:16 February 1870
It is located near Greenwich Royal Observatory

The ship has been damaged by fire twice in recent years, firstly on 21 May 2007 while undergoing conservation. She was restored and was reopened to the public on 25 April 2012. Secondly, on 19 October 2014 she suffered minor damages in a smaller fire.

Currently people can organise parties and receptions on the board. It is a fantastic possibility..

The first day in London

8th June 2015

I am finally at home. We spent in London and Brighton six fantastic days. Only one day was windy and cloudy but it didn't rain. I was in Great Britain many times before but each visit is different and educational.

Our trip we started from Greenwich Royal Observatory. We started very early at 8a.m. so it was cold at that time but later the weather was fantastic.

Park which is located next to Royal Observatory

View from Royal Observatory.

We are finally at Greenwich Park

All is under control from early morning.
