Katowice - capital of Upper Silesia is very colourful nowadays

19th December 2014

Katowice is the biggest city in Upper Silesia -nowadays it looks fantastic before Christmas. There is a great Christmas tree in the heart of city  which is continuously renovated. I love this city where I work part -time as a teacher. I love walking there despite the weather. But this year the weather is very friendly we don't have any snow and temperatures are 7 degrees Celsius or more it is high temperature this season. Typically at this time of the year we experienced severe winter but since 2011 the weather is different.

The Christmas tree is located in fron of the main entrance to theatre

The main market
