Moles love my garden

7th April 2015

Spring has come so my garden is going to be green and full of flowers but "god creatures" have damaged my garden. I call moles " God creatures" but I think they don't deserved for it.

When I was a small girl my grandfather loved hunting for moles which had damaged his garden. At that time it was a very funny situation but now I understand him...

 my violets..

European Mole which is protected by the law in Poland..

  1. We have nothing like them here. What curious creatures. They are probably good for the soil, letting in water and oxegen. Well, that would be here. Your earth probably does not need more water.

  3. We do have moles here and I see them in my garden often. It makes it hard to raise root crops, but at least they don't seem to cause as much damage as yours seem to do. And they are not protected in the US so people can do something about them if they want to.

    1. Cynthia, they had attacked my garden last year this year is the army of them. The have damaged tulips, daffodils and probably are going to do the same with mu gladiollas. I will be in my garden on 1st May and I believe I must buy a special poison for them or I don't know what to do.

  6. Gosia, I'd be figuring out a way to get rid of these guys for sure. I remember having these back on the farm when I was a girl, and my dad had some kind of poison to get rid of them. We also had a dog that would dig them up!
