Interesting landmarsks.

2nd September 2014

In my hometown which is very old ( 760 years old) there are a lot of interesting places to visit. I can say in the every corner of  the city you can notice something interesting.

Yesterday while I was walking I saw a beautiful house which is located next to a main street and it dates back from 1900 but it is well-preserved.

And the second one is the chapel which is located near my block of flats. It is the chapel which was built in 1859-1862 by locals farmers. The farmers built it because they wanted to thank God for salvation of cholera epidemic which was very serious in this area and there were thousands victims here.

THANKS FOR VISITNG

  2. The house is something else...quite majestic! That's a lovely little chapel built for a good reason--so interesting to know its history!

  3. Love the pictures. You need to use the fence one on Thursday Fences. The house is amazing. Don't you wonder what the inside of those round turrets is like?

  4. Beautiful as always. Is that a miniature Statue of Liberty in photos 5 and 7?

  5. Dear Mitchell, of course it is a Statue of Liberty. You are real American, definitely. Congrats.

  6. That's an interesting story about the little chapel and the cholera epidemic. I love the details of the old house in the first photos. They don't make 'em like that anymore!

  8. The chapel is sweet, it's set in a lovely surround. The houses are good being different colours, nice for a change.
