The Brass Band of Coal Mine

15th September 2014

On Friday I was in Katowice our capital city. And I took some photos of Brass Band of Coal Mine while it was playing. Probably it was opening of  the new monument in Katowice.

Typical Brass Band of Coal Mine. The Bras Band always has  red plumes.

The bandmaster's plume is white and red.

The Brass Bands of Coal Mine usually takes part in bank holiday, church holidays festivals and usually in the funerals of the the miners.

  3. They look good. If it like it is here, we may be the last generation to enjoy smaller brass bands. The ages of the band members is quite high.
