The last summer Sunday at my home.

21st September 2014

We have come back to our apartment from our summer house located 256 km from my permanent residence. Today is the last Sunday of summer which was hot and beautiful. We have prepare our garden for autumn. In the morning while I was walking with my dog I took some shots. The morning was foggy - sign of autumn. Later it seems it is going to be sunny day.

Foggy mornnig 7.30 -  21 st September 2014

8.30 - Local library.

Chapel which was built in the 19th century. Between 1895-1910. It was built from brick. It is located next to the main raod leading to the town.,

Jedlicze - a town in the south-east Poland. My ancestors had lived here since 16th century
before the emigrated to US and different European countries. So I am sure the walked here a lot.

Interior design.

Local people bring cut flowers every week.

At the top there is a small monument of Jesus Christ.

The chapel is located next to Elementary and High Junior School

It is Roman-Catholic Chapel.

The web I love it.

At the end of the road is mine house. The yellow one.

In October the town authority is going to build the new road. This housing estate was built in 2005-2010.

 Thanks for visiting.

  2. That is nearly 300 kilometres from where you live to your holiday house. Why bother to travel such a distance, only to work in the garden and maintain the house?

    1. Andrew, it was an investment of money. And so nice place to escape from the noisy city. I believe now it is pleasure having house in different part of country,. What future will bring we don't know... So many years to our retirement.. but as teachers we have long holidays so it makes sense now to rest in this place....
