Dear Winter - what a surprise!!!

28th December 2014

On 27th December winter has arrived it is unusual here because we didn't have snow since 2011. Personally I hate it but some people are very excited and happy. Luckily the winter is mild we have only 1cm snow and light frost -5C. So I can say winter is friendly and comfortable..

MY TYPICAL FIRST SNOWY DAY
6.a.m I was walking to buy some bread

7a.m

The snow view from my kitchen

And hooligans - crows

And the town cente at 1p.m

Local park with my dog at 2 p.m

In the backgroung High School

And small pong which is frozen

And another High School

And hens which I have met during my walk

  1. The hens seem to cope with the cold. I saw a funny video of a cat skating around on ice on a pond trying to catch the gold fish in the pond.

  2. It's so beautiful when it first falls. And especially when you don't have to go anywhere. A wonderful walk (although I'd be complaining about the cold the entire time). And I love the carved Nativity.

    1. Pat, it depends on the year. Sometimes can be -20 but last years winter is mild

  5. Snow is always beautiful, I think. We got 5 inches yesterday, after our first brown Christmas in many years.
