Every week when I am in Katowice I admire this beautiful landmark.
The Evangelical Church of the Resurrection is the oldest stone church in Katowice. It was built in the years 1856-1858 – and it is the oldest building in the city. Later, it was expanded and restored many times.
It is a neo-Romanesque shrine, also referring to the early Christian architecture. Inside the church it is worth noting the original pulpit, stained glass windows in the chancel and valuable organ
All these photos were taken on 16th January 2015. As you can see there are a lot of cars around the church It is a car park located here so the church wants to earn some money so they run the car park.

It is lovely and bright inside. It does look newer than its age.
