Bieszczady Mountains Winter



6th February 2015

My vacation house is located 80 km from this beautiful, wild and welcoming mountains. The wild life here is amazing. You can meet bears and wolves.. The nature is unspoilt. The air clear and fresh. Typical paradise for tourists. I love Bieszczady especially in the autumn when their trees are multicoloured..

    I was going to comment on you being 20 km from Slovakia, but it has gone. Biedszczady looks beautiful, but I am not sure about the bears and wolves.

      Andrew , yes bears and wolves can be dangerous but only if the winter is severe. Two years ago the bear attacked the tourists...

      Linda, I love mountains but espescially in spring or autumn.Winters in the mountaINS CAN BE DANGEROUS..

    Very beautiful, yet somehow forbidding. I wouldn't want to run into any bears or wolves though.
