Margaret days are becoming shorter and shorter. When I get up at 6.16 it is dark when I come /back home at 4p.m is dark to so I feel bag because Iove light
When you retire Mondays are just like the other 6 days of the week. It makes life a bit - no very - boring I can tell you. I suppose in November having to go off to work it is a bit colder? Then the real winter of Europe - Dec. Jan and Feb. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Here it gets hotter - February is by far the worst month - so cross that Month off the list if you are contemplating an Australian holiday. Cheers Colin
It used to be Black Monday for me when I was working. I feel tired and lazy to go to work after the hectic and busy weekend but since I have retired, Monday is just like any other day to me.
In November we watch all the things from summer disappear for the winter ahead, so it's kind of melancholy. So put on your happy face and find someone to share a smile with today!
As mentioned above, retirement takes the sting out of Monday. These days I like Monday because the newspaper crossword puzzles are the easiest of the week. By Friday they're usually a bit of a struggle. I like November because there are a few family birthdays this month; and in the U.S. we celebrate Thanksgiving Day with a big feast. I'm looking forward to all the good food.
Why in November?
