There is only one post office in my summer place but it looks lovely. It was built in 19th century but lately it has been renovated.
Polish people order a lot of online so the post office delivers packages. It is the most popular action of our post office now..
Posh looking Post Office
ReplyDeleteBill I agree with you.

DeleteThat Post Office is very elaborate and ornate - the only Post
Offices now of note here are in the capital cities, very large towns
or towns which were of major importance in previous years. Post
offices in little country towns are like pubs - meeting places for the
farming fraternity or as these farming people are called here - "COCKIES".
I have no idea the origin of this Aussie expression - but my family
came from the "COCKY" brigade - ha ha
I see you are not a lover of rain from an answer in the last blog.
Hmmmmmmmmm! You wouldn't make a country girl here in Australia.
Rain is the lifeline for the "COCKY" brigade and rural towns also.
Actually much more rain is needed in the "outback" and the "not so outback"
for good summer grass growth for stock and to alleviate against the summer season bush fire threats.
Thanks for the weather report reply for your Christmas - minus 2 Celsius and snow - thank you, Gosia, a most definite - "NO THANK YOU'.

ReplyDeleteState Office for the Federal Attorney-General, George Brandis.

Barrister from 1985.
