Two years ago I w\was in Slovakia. It was Trebisov a small nice town located near Hungary. It looks as a modern city
.
Trebišov (Hungarian: Tőketerebes; German: Trebischau) is a small industrial town in the easternmost part of Slovakia, with apopulation of around 23,000. The town is an administrative, economic and cultural center with machine (Vagónka) and building materials industries.

ReplyDeleteVery interesting temple.
Regards:)*
I like the simple lines of the modern church.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to say that I would have to get a map out to see where Slovakia is.
ReplyDeleteI know where it is...the church is different, it's modern on the outside..
ReplyDeleteWould like to visit it once.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
A very modern look to that church. What did the steeple look like?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how the inside of the church looks like. Have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy seeing your photos.
ReplyDeleteThat is a modern church!
ReplyDeleteSlovakia certainly has had a checkered history.
ReplyDeleteHowever it is now a most prosperous country of the EU.
The capital Bratislava I have been told is one of the most
beautiful capitals of Europe being situated on the mighty
Danube. The city features on many of the river cruises
that are available for tourists. Only recently my two
sisters did a river cruise ending up in Amsterdam and
starting I think somewhere near or at Vienna, that passed
through Bratislava.
Cheers

It's good that new churches are being built. Where religion is in decline, churches are being closed, not built. It looks like a lovely church. Does it have a 'spire'?
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Spain,
