Spirit of France

Spirit of France

 18th June 2014

Coming back to Poland from Great Britain we always take a ferry from Dover to Calais. In the past we took "Pride of Canterbury" it was not so nice and comfortable ferry.

All my students were dissatisfied but this time we were swimming by "Spirit of France" it's amazing, comfortable and new one.

MS Spirit of France is a cross-channel ferry operated by Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company known as P&O Ferries on the Dover-Calais route. She is the second of two 'Spirit' class ships built for P&O Ferries, the other being Spirit of Britain. The vessels are the largest ferries constructed for the Dover/Calais route and the largest ferries to ever cross the English Channel

It was very comfortable for us and so clean. And the most important it wasn't so crowded on Sunday.

Now you can compare Spirit of France is a fantastic one where we could relax , eat and enjoy comfort of travelling. I can recommend it everybody.

Pride of Cantenbury

MS Pride of Canterbury was the second of four 'European Class' freight ferries ordered for P&O European FerriesDover-Zeebrugge route. Between 1992 and 2002 she sailed between Dover and Zeebrugge for P&O European Ferries and laterP&O Stena Line. She was converted in the winter of 2002/spring 2003 and re-entered service as Pride of Canterbury(replacing the ageing P&OSL Canterbury). She currently sails from Dover to Calais
