Turkey. How situations can change in 12 months.I feel really sorry for the Turks with this "refugeeinflux" problem, plus the outbreak of suicide bombings.Shocking for the people of Turkey and the tourist tradewhich is so important to the Turkish economy. And now ANZAC day memorial (25th April) Gallipolicoming up and the travel alerts etc. For young and old Aussies going to Gallipoli for the Dawn Services is now fraught with dangers. This 25th April visit has taken on a "Rite of Passage" meaning for the young Aussies and Kiwis.Colin
Colin now Turkey is not safe area
Good to see your photos of Turkey.Let's hope all is safe there for Day - Australians and New Zealand people and all others.
Margaret world is not peaceful place now
We really enjoyed our visit to Turkey also and would hate to ever see it embroiled in the discord that is plaguing the area right now.
Kay you are right it is a fantastic country full of landmarks
It is interesting to see photos from your trip. You look very pretty. Have a nice day.
Thanks a lot
I think you visited at a good time. Things in Turkey have gotten much worse since you were there and you probably would not care to travel there this spring.
Cynthia now situation is completely different not safe ..
