Today is the last Saturday before Christmas. And the day is only 2 minutes shorter than the shortest one so I am very happy because I hate short, dark evenings in December. I took these photos at 7.30 a.m. from my flat - kitchen window. The sunrise was lovely. So it means since Wednesday 23rd December the days are getting longer and longer..
Have a great Sunday!!
Such a pretty view! Blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot
DeleteThe weather is unseasonably warm at the moment but the short daylight hours are depressing. Thank you for your kind comments on my blog.
ReplyDeleteYopu are welcome. I love our weather now
DeleteStill "Indian Summer" like weather here in Brisbane and to remain so until after Christmas - no complaints from me.
ReplyDeleteHas been terrible down South in Victoria and South Australia
where bush fires broke out - thankfully all controlled.
Adelaide has dropped today to 21 Celsius - I bet they are happy but Melbourne is today 39 Celsius - not so happy!
Presently here in Brisbane is 27 Celsius and to peak ( I doubt it at 31 Celsius).
Hope you have a fine and sunny day for the 25th.
Cheers
Colin
Colin so it is friendly temperature for Christams especially in the shadow
DeleteWhen we lived in "cold" country, we would count down to the shortest day of the year and breathe a huge sigh of relief when we finally got there. Surprisingly, even in this climate the reduced hours of sunlight still gets to me, although I'm not quite so desperate anymore. Your last Sunday sunrise before Christmas looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMitchell so you understand me..
