Easter market in Katowice

17th March 2016

Since 9th March to 24 th March 2016  there is an Easter market in the centre of Katowce.  There are a lot of stalls which offer a wide variety of products. So you can buy  regional food from different parts of Poland like  cheese from mountains, different types of honey. Delicious homemade cakes and bread. I think prices are reasonable. In the centre of the market you can buy some fast food or something hot to drink. Today was a great sunny early spring day so walking there it was pleasure for me..

There is a fantastic Easter decoration. two big eggs zellow and orange look fantastic..

The chicken is awesome

  4. Interesting array of stalls, but Easter has completely been hijacked by the money makers (commercialism)these days!
Once upon a time people fasted for Good Friday, now you find them stuffing themselves with pre-Easter Sunday chocolates!!

  9. One can certainly tell it's Easter time there. In our little city there is no indication it's easter expect for the shops and their easter eggs.

  15. I always like the local farmers' markets. Not only is there nice fresh things you don't see in the regular stores, it's fun and easy to find new people to talk to.
