Welcome in the countryside

24th March 2016
In the morning we left Upper Silesia for 5 days because we are going to spend Easter in the countryside. During walking dog I have taken some photos.

Hens and rooster - wow just I am in the small town.. I always have a dream to have chickens one day... I know it is stupid idea but I would like to have fresh eggs..
The first buds..

Local post office . In front of it is a nice willow..

Tomorrow  it is a high time to prepare something for EASTER.

  2. Nice post. Here where I live people are now allowed to have chickens in town if they don't have to many and they are cared for properly. Loved your fence shot, those willow trees are the loveliest shade of green in the spring.

  4. It would be very hard to take a photo of the post office when the willow tree has leaves.

  5. Happy Easter Gosia, T.O.H and daughter.
Yes fresh daily laid eggs. But you don't need
a bloody noisy rooster to feed. You can replace the
old hens with new day old pullet chickens or about to
    lay pullets.
Enjoy your Easter break in Silesia, Brisbane is devoid of
people - the weather is excellent, so the exodus for the beaches and the dam locations which supply Brisbane with water,(water skiing, camping and canoeing)are packed.
    Cheers
    Colin
PS: St.Stephen's Catholic Cathedral for "The Stations of
the Cross" will be packed for the 3.00pm service.
It is surprising - maybe to some - just how many of the
    congregation is under 30.
