In the morning we left Upper Silesia for 5 days because we are going to spend Easter in the countryside. During walking dog I have taken some photos.
Hens and rooster - wow just I am in the small town.. I always have a dream to have chickens one day... I know it is stupid idea but I would like to have fresh eggs..
Tomorrow it is a high time to prepare something for EASTER.
Three very different but good fence shots. Have a HAPPY EASTER.
ReplyDeleteThe same to you
DeleteNice post. Here where I live people are now allowed to have chickens in town if they don't have to many and they are cared for properly. Loved your fence shot, those willow trees are the loveliest shade of green in the spring.
ReplyDeleteIn Poland in small towns you can keep hens
Deletei like the chickens perched up there. cute. nice post office, too! happy easter to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love hens
DeleteIt would be very hard to take a photo of the post office when the willow tree has leaves.
ReplyDeleteYes you are right but it looks fantastic
DeleteHappy Easter Gosia, T.O.H and daughter.
ReplyDeleteYes fresh daily laid eggs. But you don't need
a bloody noisy rooster to feed. You can replace the
old hens with new day old pullet chickens or about to
lay pullets.
Enjoy your Easter break in Silesia, Brisbane is devoid of
people - the weather is excellent, so the exodus for the beaches and the dam locations which supply Brisbane with water,(water skiing, camping and canoeing)are packed.
Cheers
Colin
PS: St.Stephen's Catholic Cathedral for "The Stations of
the Cross" will be packed for the 3.00pm service.
It is surprising - maybe to some - just how many of the
congregation is under 30.
Colin thanks for nice wishes. I would like to have your fantastic weather
DeleteHappy Easter to you, your husband and daughter.
ReplyDeleteWe have chooks next door x 2..
Happy Easter to you and yours
DeleteHappy Easter and enjoy your trip into the country.
ReplyDeleteCountryside looks nice at the beginning of spring
DeleteDefinitely not a stupid idea. Jerry, too, has always wanted to have chickens (and pigs, and ducks, and swans...)
ReplyDeleteSo he would understand my desire
DeleteHave a Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteAnd peaceful for you
