There is a tall and old cactus in my living room. The cactus is 20 years old.
I like it very much, because I can water it rarely..
On the wall there is a big picture which presents New York.
I bought it in IKEA.
Have a nice Saturday!
Your cactus is doing very well because you're kind to it!
ReplyDeleteThe picture is lovely. I like Ikea!
Maggie x
The cacti is nice and healthy
DeleteGood grief - 20 years old and still flourishing in a pot!
ReplyDeleteCertainly wouldn't survive long outside in the Polish winter, I reckon.
I had one in the bathroom - got the morning sun and seemed to thrive on the steam from the shower - especially in the winter months here. It lived for years then for reasons UNKNOWN - it was brilliantly alive for example on a Monday and then the following day, Tuesday dead as a door nail???
One of the mysteries of my green finger attempts.
Maybe your cactus likes the Brooklyn Bridge, although I can't imagine why? ha ha.
Cheers
Colin
Colin in Poland the weather is changeable so it it not posssible to grow it outside. Last week it was -8 C but yesterday it was +10c degrees. - typical spring
DeleteNot too many cactus growing in Poland. The picture is very recognisably New York.
ReplyDeleteAndrew our climate zone it too cold but we have a lot of them at homes
DeleteCool! A tall, old, indoor cactus!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's always nice to see a little of a blogger's private space at home.
Dina I love to see other blogggers homes inside too
DeleteLove the cactus! 20 years old? Wow! The NY picture is great, too :)
ReplyDeleteJudith
So I am very glad
DeleteYou have done well to keep that cacti growing.
ReplyDeleteMargaret thanks a lot
DeleteAh, the Brooklyn Bridge! I love the cactus, too. We've had several of that type of the years. Right now, we've got one that's got a red tint to it. It spends the year outside on our terrace and has gotten huge in the less than three years we've had it.
ReplyDeleteMitchell you definitely have had better climate for cacti
DeleteThat's big for an indoor cactus. It must have a sturdy constitution to do well for so many years.
ReplyDeleteCynthia yes you are right but my family thinks I have green fingers
