Childhood can be colourful..
8th September 2015
Most people remember their childhood as the best period of their life. Children love colourful items. In my city the fence around the kindergarten is colourful, too.
Yep, Gosia, Childhood memories never disappear, do they? I have great memories of my youth - in the country. Chook feeding, poddy calves and lambs fed with buckets of milk and bottle feeding, horse riding, tree climbing, bird egg huniting and having pets such as kangaroos ( baby orphaned Joeys) , emu chicks and even an orphaned possum which delighted running up bare legs - OUCH! The Native Aussie pets when they grew up and were ready for going back into the kangaroo mobs and the emu flocks were - with many tears flowing profusely - released. Some would come back and visit but eventually they realised where they belonged.
Visit to Cracow. Unfortunately Gosia my days of travel are over. With my back hanging by a thread due to early childhood polio and then intensive sporting days, I can't get travel insurance and NO ONE in their right mind travels overseas without that! So I will have to do with your picturesque and informative blog for Polish sights and history. Cheers Colin
A fence around a nearby children's park was just painted the same way. However, it's an old-fashioned-style picket fence. Still, fun. As for childhood, NOT the best period of my life.
that is cute. thanks, gosia!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you
