Twice a week I work in Katowice - our province capital city and I can admire this charming church
The Evangelical Church of the Resurrection is the oldest stone church in Katowice. It was built in the years 1856-1858 – and it is the oldest building in the city. Later, it was expanded and restored many times.
It is a neo-Romanesque shrine, also referring to the early Christian architecture. Inside the church it is worth noting the original pulpit, stained glass windows in the chancel and valuable organ
The church is located at Warszawska Street among old trees.
Have a nice Sunday. I am on the way to my flat in Upper Silesia. It takes us 3 hours..
If the walls in this church can talk, there will be endless stories to tell. Have a blessed Sunday!
