Each property has a fence,

1 st October 2105

In Europe most detached houses are surounded by fences. They are different but their owners think having the fence is safer and more comfortable. My opinion is the same and our yard are not so big like in US.

Have a sunny day!!!

  2. Do I remember hedges. As a kid that was my job. Dad cut and I got the dirty work. Wheelbarrow the branches to the very back of yard and dump.
Yours is nice so I wont have to deal with hedges anymore. Just look.

  3. For God's sake - not all suburban yards in the USA are big.
The house yards of suburbia in Europe I think are far superior
and better retained for natural beauty.

    1. Colin you are right but yards in US are more spacious than in Europe. In my region most houses have very small yards about 300 metres

  4. The vines growing over the fencing are so pretty when they turn that lovely red color.
    Good selection of fences.

  5. We have fences 3 sides of the back yard, all do. Some people have a front fence, we don't. Hedges are often good but take a bit of maintaining.

  6. Each house having a fence must be nice for finding fences to share with the Good Fences meme! When we lived in Portland, OR we had a stone wall on one side, an arborvitae hedge in the back, and my father built a very nice wood fence on the other side. Now we don't have any fences around our place here in the country, but we do have some areas fenced off (our strawberry patch has chicken wire around it to keep the chickens out). We also have trees around some of the sides, and a lilac hedge between our house and the road.
