We are at my summer place. The journey was stressful this evening. Luckily we avoided the accident with deer. The situation was very dangerous. The animal was 20 cm in front of our car. He was running across the road in the countryside... But we have good brakes and ABS... We survived and deer too.
Have a nice Friday!!
glad you all survived.
ReplyDeleteThanks to God..
DeleteScary! I'm glad you missed. Deer and cars collide here all the time, too.
ReplyDeleteCynthia you are right it is happen often here too,
DeleteLike us, trying to avoid hitting kangaroos.
ReplyDeleteAndrew so you know personally how the situation is stressful
DeleteDriving at night can be hazardous - the lights blind the animals.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise here - be alert very early morning and at dusk.
During the day here most native animals like kangaroos are resting especially
in the hotter days.
Only "mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun" as that song says,
and animals are not stupid.
Cheers
Colin
Colin it was 7.pm. but noiw is autumn so at this time is completely dark and we were not in the motorway but on the road between firest leading to our summer house
DeleteThat must have been scary. Take care and keep safe. Have a good time in your summer house.
ReplyDeleteDiane thanks a lot
DeleteSounds like you had a very lucky escape. Rather scary though as one never knows what creatures are about at dusk till morning..
ReplyDeleteMargaret,we are very happy we escaped the collision
DeleteThank goodness you were OK. My friend hit a moose and both the car and moose died.
